Throughout the transition, a dedicated Relationship Manager will liaise with your authorized Representative to provide support and address any issues.

1. What exactly is People™ Payroll Management?

It is the simplest, most reliable and economical payroll service available in the market. People™ Payroll Management is the first payroll service in the market operating at full scale and fully leveraging the Internet for most aspects of the payroll process, saving time for both the employer and employees.

2. What advantages does People™ Payroll offer to my employees?

With People™ Payroll Management, employees can conveniently view their salary information, compensation history and manage day to day payroll related tasks such applying for expenses, leaves and manage travel authorizations. The fact that all these transactions are occurring electronically, it takes less time for employees to expedite these transactions.

3. Do I have to give up control of my Payroll?

Absolutely not. You retain control on your payroll and we will act on your behalf in processing, disbursing and managing it.

4. How does the process work?

It's quite simple. The client will provide us Staff Turnover Form (STF) via our secure web site, email or fax. Payroll is run, tax and other deductions are calculated and cheques are generated and sent to you. For clients using People Payroll Management Gold package, the cheques are generated and sent to you but meanwhile direct deposits are made to employees’ accounts also, saving you the entire disbursement process.

5. Some of my employees have direct deposit but others prefer a pay cheque every pay period. Can you handle both groups?

Certainly, you have the option of offering your employees EFT or pay cheque either from your bank (Basic package) or through our account (Gold package).

6. Do you handle my taxes?

People™ Payroll Management automatically calculates, deducts, pays and files all taxes and statutory payments. Once we enter your payroll data, we'll handle the tax calculations, deductions and filings. We then deposit them into the appropriate government accounts.

7. Do I need extra software or equipment?

No, all you need is a web browser and an Internet connection, and you're in business. That's it! There is no software to install, upgrade or maintain.

All funds for a current payroll, including tax liabilities & benefits, are deducted one day prior to the cheque date.

13. Can we have more than one contact person?

Yes. People™ Payroll allows your organization to have multiple contacts. Typically a company will identify a Payroll Administrator (responsible for running payroll data) and a Payroll Approver (responsible for final payroll approval). These individuals can be identified during the early migration phase and can be changed mutually as and when needed. 14. Can the pay calendar be adjusted?

The payroll calendar is set with mutual agreement but can be adjusted as and when needed.

15. What documentation is needed for People™ Payroll Management to process payroll?

People™ will require receiving complete and signed documentation before we can begin processing payroll and or benefits management. Documents needed include: Services Level Agreement, Tax Information Authorization and EOBI/SS registration (if applicable). 16. Can you process payroll tax and other statutory filings for a previous month, quarter or year?

People™ will only process payroll tax and other statutory filings for the periods in which our services were used. Since we file and pay taxes and statutory payments on a current basis, there will never be a need for us to file or pay taxes and statutory payments for a previous month, quarter or year.

17. Can I submit pay adjustments for employees that are separate from their salary?

18. Can I track employees' salaries to different departments?

Yes, we can handle a range of job classifications levels that allows you to report payroll information for different departments, divisions and/or locations. This enables you to get a complete view of your payroll expenses location, division & department wise.

19. Will People™ Payroll help client track paid, sick, and/or emergency leaves?

Yes, within the employee portal, each employee can see how many days have been taken in different head and what the balance is to date.

20. Can my completed payroll data be directly exported into Excel?

Yes, People™ Payroll offers you the ability to download summary level payroll data for use in MS Excel.

21. What reports are available to me?

People™ Payroll Report link allows HR Administrators, Finance Administrators and employees to view different payroll reports. Based on client specific requirements, People™ can also develop/prepare ad hoc reports.
